Quotes leave a paradigm for soul-growth

Quotes are the epitomes of strength and endurance of figures of the past. Imagine all the trials and tribulations those people have gone through to be able to put such wisdom and understanding of human nature and life into simple words and sentences. We, as children or even as young adults and adults, are often urged to read good books, essays and poetry. That is not a piece of pointless advice. It is through these works that we get a good perspective with which to view life. Devoid of such a foundation, one might develop a silly, cynical or pompous approach to life which will one day or the other crumble to pieces and leave the individual emotionally and spiritually broke.

The motive behind all great quotes is ‘soul growth’. There are some people who associate with people of lower intelligence of exposure than themselves to satisfy their inner insecurities and want of acceptance. This is a rather wily and low aim. One should always want to aim high. Quotes are the humble little nuggets of wisdom which put good ideas into our brains without being didactic. This is the reason many quotes have survived the lapse of time, and lived on even after those who spoke or wrote them originally have long gone.
